What is Denimrebels?

Denimrebels is the community and movement behind Denim Republic: young people learning to redesign denim and change the fashion industry. Not a brand you buy - a movement you join.

Where does Denimrebels come from?

It grew out of a denim school project - including a collaboration with Levi's - in Järfälla, just outside Stockholm, Sweden.

What is a denimrebel?

Anyone who picks up a needle instead of the bin - who repairs, redesigns and reclaims denim rather than replacing it.

Are Denimrebels bad?

Only to fast fashion and waste. The "rebel" is against throwaway culture, not people - it's a warm, welcoming community.

Is Denimrebels a community?

Yes - a growing community of makers, students and denim lovers. Join the newsletter to become a founding member.

Where are the Denimrebels?

What is a denim gym?

A workshop where, instead of weights, you train with sewing machines, scissors, bleach and paint - getting strong at repairing and redesigning denim.

Is Denim Republic a workshop?

It's a workshop, a school and a lab in one - plus a showroom and events space in Järfälla.
